On TripAdvisor and several other places, the opening time says 6:30. We needed to be on our fishing boat around 7:00. Google said the store opened at 7:00 so we decided to wait. At 7:00 the workers were just beginning to arrive to set up the store. We left at 7:15 and they were still not ope . We did not get to order our breakfast.

It was great , delicious , and super friendly. Love the location and the place felt very comfortable and cozy. the bagels were yummy . I recommend the spinach with artichoke spread. Can't wait to go back. Definitely our breakfast place when visiting cape may

We always stop at Bagel Time when in Cape May. The pork roll, egg, and cheese on bagel is quite filling, could easily be split if you're not starved. They also offer avocado on a bagel for a vegan choice and they didn't skimp at all on the 🥑! Gets warm inside, but most eat outside or take away. They have more seating in the 2019 summer, taking over whatever used to be next door.

Maybe the effort levels are low because it is off season? Seemed like everything in the place was empty - the ketchup bottles on the tables, the almond milk bottle the girl behind the counter gave me for my coffee (which, I would skip on the coffee all together) -- oh, and if you want salt-pepper-ketchup on your egg and cheese bagel, it comes "on the side"... ?

Wow! Food is fantastic! Fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and service is fast couldn’t ask for much better! I had the privilege of watching a couple of the chefs/cooks in the kitchen, fast and clean kitchen. Outstanding service if you want fresh and delicious food this is the place hands down.- chad

They don’t answer phone nor have on line orders at Cape May-then don’t supply the drinks as stated for kids meal and don’t complete the order. A big surprise when you get home!

Good selection of bagels (NOT AMAZING BUT GOOD FOR HERE) and cream cheese for a remote bagel shop. Reasonable prices for bagels (not for sandwiches).

Oh my goodness! Best bagel ever. Soft, thick, and my son and husband had a breakfast sandwich that was very satisfying too.. Should open one in DE.. Would definitely be competition for Surf Bagel..bagel time's were better!

We are heading home today and needed to get on the road but we wanted to grab coffee and a bagel before we headed out. I arrived at bagel time at 6:57 AM and their workers were just showing up to work. Online it says the cafe opens at 7:00. It got to be about 7:10 AM and there was a line out the door behind me and they still were not opened up yet. I knocked on the door and asked what their hours are and the man said “7:00 give or take”. We finally went in to order and they were not prepared. They had no milk or cream for coffee and what they did have had been sitting out all night, thus it was old milk and cream. They were also unapologetic about making people wait outside when their advertisements and hours say 7:00. I will not go back to bagel time! Very disappointing

Man .. this place is THE BEST!!!!! Every person treats you sooooo well!! Our waiter was the perfect example of what every wait staffer wants to .. and should be .. the best Eva!! Also the food and coffee is totally top notch!! 5 Stars isn’t enough .. 10 Stars!!!

Great location! And the food was great and the price was too! The only thing is the latte was just 0K, id definitely grab one from somewhere else before breakfast!

Overall everything was great here. The owner was extremely nice and the bagels were the best around. I can't wait to come back once my belly is not full!

Honestly, for a place where you go to get bagels, it's just right. I tend to go with a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain or Asiago bagel plus a side of hash browns. I've also done the western "omelette" on a bagel. They're not breaking new ground here, but it's a good, delicious product, reasonably priced, and fast. For my taste the hash browns are a surprise highlight to the menu. They're simple, seasoned just right, and I could probably make a meal out of just them (well... maybe 2-4 orders of them).

Bagels are great, the iced americano is some of the best I ever had. Prices are very good for how much food they give you!

Cashier didn't turn around to take my order or look at me after walking to the register and asking for help. First 30 seconds of zero interaction was awkward, as was the following minute of failed acknowledgment by any staff.

Best bagels in Cape May! Friendly, courteous staff and delicious bagels, sandwiches, fresh coffee, and even freshly squeezed orange juice. Muffins, cookies and a wide drink selection is also available. Make sure to try the jalapeño cheese bagel!

Been stopping here for years and they don't disappoint. Bagels are great and the coffee/tea is always fresh. Wait staff was very pleasant and even watch one sharp waitress stop a runaway child from darting out into the street.

Best bagels around. Cream cheese spreads where you can actually taste the flavors.you can eat inside or out. I only gave 4 stars because of price and when i saw they delivered I said something and girl replied , no we really don't do early deliveries because were to busy.. There only open early..i do recommend though , Avalon begals used to be best bagels but went down hill and i had not tried these until last year..

French Toast, yum!!! Three slices with a nice cinnamin crust. My husband had the everything bagel with the scallion spread...highly recommend 😋

Food was ok, passable, but not great; bagel kind of soggy and undertoasted. Just a very tight, stuffy place with not a good flow of traffic. Bathroom hot like an oven, leaking water on the floor at shop entrance from maybe refrigeration. All-around messy. Not sure I'd go back.

Bagels are terrible. They're like hamburger buns probably baked instead of boiled. Look elsewhere if you want a real bagel. Nice atmosphere and good service though.

We had lunch here and the portions are huge!!! The food was really good! Tuna salad, Turkey club and Cuban panini were delicious. We had leftovers. Yum!

Good coffee and bagels!

Great spot for a quick breakfast and coffee. I visited on back to back days and was not disappointed either time. If you’re a person who’s in a rush, bring cash. They only have one credit card machine at the register, so if you “dine in” aka sit at one of the tables and want to pay with card, you have to cut in front of everyone in the “to-go” line to pay. It’s a little awkward but the other patrons in line were very friendly and we were not in any rush so it didn’t bother us.

I love love love getting an everything bagel toasted with taylor ham, egg over easy with cheese!!! So good!!! The bagel is great and light so you don't just fill up on that. Enjoy it every time I go and the staff is just wonderful!!!

I got my wife and I everything bagel with lox and cream cheese, and they were delicious. The service was friendly, attentive and quick and I highly recommend the bagel shop

Supposed to open at 7. Was there at 7:05 and they said a couple more minutes. I left at 7:15 because they still hadn't opened and went to the other bagel place two streets away. They lost 6 customers in the time before I left at 7:15. I saw two of them eating in the other place.

Great place for breakfast. We have always done takeouts, but the omelets and home fries are some of the best in Cape May. Will definitely come back on future vacations.

Literally we wanted our umbrella up and for some reason they wouldn’t put it up. Then once we convinced them to put it up the waiter whacked me in the face with it. Also took 30 minutes to get a bagel. Not going here again.
